 Emergency Pakistan Flood Relief

With over 1/5 of the country submerged due to ongoing monsoon flooding, the humanitarian crisis in Pakistan is staggering. Besides the obvious challenges posed by displacement, injury and homelessness, waterborne diseases such as cholera are a major concern as people wade through filthy waters.

Jewish Federation of Central New Jersey is committed to the Jewish value of Tikun Olam (repairing the world) and is dedicated to assisting and easing humanitarian crisis wherever they arise. 

All funds raised for this emergency campaign will go to our partner, the Joint American Jewish Distribution Committee for direct relief purposes in Pakistan.

Statement on Iran Sanctions

Leaders of the Jewish Federation of Central New Jersey welcomed the vote this week at the UN Security Council on the Iran sanctions resolution, with 12 voting for and only Turkey and Brazil voting against, with Lebanon abstaining.
