Annual Campaign

Allocations decisions are determined by a committee of volunteers and leaders representative of the entire community.  This insures that community priorities are identified and addressed and that funds are distributed with utmost integrity.

It is through the annual campaign infrastructure that we are able to respond immediately when crises arise.  As part of a system of 155 federations across North America, we are connected to a national system that has the resources to respond to disasters, man-made or natural.

Where Your Dollars Go

According to Jewish tradition, the highest form of tzedakah (charity) is giving to a central or community fund.  In the Jewish community, that is the Annual Campaign.  It embodies the values and traditions of our community more than anything else we do.   It says that we care about people, wherever they are.  It says we will address a broad array of critical issues from care of the elderly to special needs children; Jewish education from day-care through college and beyond through birthright israel; and in  Israel and the Former Soviet Union.
